Lenovo recently launched the Moto 360 2nd Generation in the Philippines, a smartwatch designed to streamline mobile life by delivering updates that matter and comes in stylish fashion and sports lines.
Had the chance to try one out for myself, specifically from their fashion line, the Rose Gold Moto 360 2nd Gen.
Moto 360 comes in three different case sizes to fit different wrist sizes and features lugs specifically tailored for men and women. The case is precision-crafted from aircraft-grade stainless steel. Sleek and sophisticated, it combines edge-to-edge glass and an exceptionally thin, polished bezel to give the largest viewing area.
For fitness enthusiasts, the Moto 360 Sport comes in 45mm design. Men can choose between the 42mm model with Black Leather and its larger brother, the 46mm variant in Cognac Leather. Women, on the other hand, can wear the 42mm Moto 360 in one of the trendiest colors right now, the Rose Gold. These smartwatches sport the world-renowned Chicago-based Horween® leather band.
Users also have the freedom to choose from a wide variety of watch faces just by a long press anywhere on the screen. Go for a classic watch face or a more intricate design – the Moto 360 has 20 watch faces to choose from!
It comes with the following items: the Moto 360 watch, cables and the docking charger.
It’s all white packaging looks elegant as well. Personally think I can just add a gift ribbon to this and it would already make for a good present.
The Moto 360 2nd Gen watch looks like an actual watch with its classic round design and that’s what makes it standout from other smartwatches in the market which are box-like looking. I love the Rose Gold color. It looks chic and elegant.
The new Moto 360 runs with a Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 400 with 1.2 GHz quad-core processor. In terms of battery life, this Moto 360 smartwatch (42mm) can last a day and a half – it’s powered by 300mAh battery. The bigger 46mm model houses a 400mAh battery that can last up to two days when fully-charged. When the battery is drained, all you have to do is charge it through a wireless charging inductive.
The Moto 360 is water resistant with IP67* rating and are melded with scratch-resistant Corning® Gorilla® Glass. It is compatible with both Android and iOS platforms*

I used the Moto 360 for more than 2 weeks syncing it with my Lenovo VIBE Shot. I’m an always-on individual and I like that with the Moto 360 I no longer have to pull out my phone to check for updates because it’s right there on my wrist!
I could check on the time… or get an update on my Uber booking.
I can even access my Spotify thru my Moto 360 and send a quick text message to my friends. All that’s needed is an available Internet connection and I can get all the notifications and use Google voice control even when out of Bluetooth range.
The Moto 360 also helps users get closer to their #FitnessGoals thanks to the Moto Body fitness tracker. It’s a revolutionary fitness software that tracks steps, calories and heart rate just by wearing the smartwatch all day. It can even coach users to set goals through activity analysis and seamless connectivity with the smartphone-based Moto Body app.
After a week of wearing the Moto 360, I got an email from Moto summarizing my fitness activity which I thought is pretty cool.
I’m not a techie person but the Moto 360 2nd Gen made quite an impression on me! I would love to get my hands on one of these! The 42mm Rose Gold + Blush Leather is priced at Php17,999 and it’s available in Gadgets in Style (TriNoma and Shangri-la branches) and in Power Premium Gadgets (Mall of Asia and SM Megamall branches).
